Quantum provides custom engineering, design, and fabrication of high-integrity containment systems for nuclear, radiological, chemical, and hazardous material environments. Our capabilities include gloveboxes, hot cells, isolators, shielded enclosures, and specialty containment systems engineered for both routine operations and high-hazard applications.
Fabrication is performed using advanced welding and joining processes including TIG, MIG, Hot Wire TIG, and orbital welding. Our teams work with exotic alloys, stainless steels, and heavy-duty sheet, pipe, and tube materials, supported by precision machining for tight-tolerance components. These systems are designed to withstand extreme radiological, thermal, and chemical conditions.
Comprehensive project management, quality assurance, inspection, and testing are embedded throughout the fabrication process. Programs are executed in full compliance with NQA-1, ASME Section IX, ASME “U,” “R,” and “NB” stamps, B31.3 piping codes, and ASNT-certified nondestructive testing. Helium mass-spectrometer leak testing, pressure testing, and functional acceptance testing ensure long-term system integrity.

We provide full-spectrum nuclear decontamination services using advanced, field-proven technologies. Capabilities include CO₂ blasting, chemical extraction and surface decontamination (Rad-Release), mechanical abrasion, and concrete shaving for the removal of fixed and transferable contamination.
Turnkey Decontamination & Decommissioning (D&D) services support the safe retirement, refurbishment, and repurposing of nuclear facilities and contaminated systems. Services include site assessments, radiological characterization, remediation planning, field execution, waste packaging, transportation coordination, and disposal pathway support.
We also offer rapid-response emergency decontamination services with mobile deployment capabilities to address unplanned contamination events, minimize operational downtime, and restore safe working conditions.
